How to Book

1 Choose the boat you want from our Boats Page.

2 Check the Price Table, or the Short Break price table, to see that the boat is available when you want it. The word BOOKED means that the boat has already been booked for that week.

3 If you cannot see the right boat just when you want it, fill in our Availability Enquiry Form and we'll get back to you quickly with some alternative suggestions.
Or you can ring us on 024 76 393333 to discuss your requirements.

4 When you are sure the boat you want is available when you want it, make a note of the price then CLICK HERE to calculate your Initial Payment. You can then use our Secure Online Booking Form or print and post our Paper Booking Form to request the boat be reserved for you.

Booking Notes

•Take Over Times
Full Week boats will be available to board at 4pm on Fridays (Blythe Valley & Tamar Valley) and Saturdays (Cherwell Valley, Farndale Valley, Wharfedale Valley).

Short break boats (Blythe Valley and Tamar Valley) will be available to board at 2.30pm on Friday and Monday starts.

Arrival outside these designated times only with prior arrangement please. If you get delayed on your journey and estimate you will be arriving after 4.30 please ring us and let us know on 02476 393333 as special arrangements may need to be made for staff to be there to meet you.

Boats must be returned and vacated by 9.00am at the end of your holiday in a clean condition.

• Prices Include
British Waterways Canal and River Severn licences, the weekly hire of the boat including VAT, fuel, gas, heating, cooking utensils, cutlery, crockery, pillows, duvets, buoyancy aids, outside car parking (maximum of 2 cars per boat - first car free, second car charged at £10 per short break or £15 per week), Third Party Liability Insurance up to £1,000,000. Boaters handbook. Tuition including the workings of the boat and locks. Bed linen and teatowels. Towels are only provided for overseas guests. A small 150W inverter is available on each boat for mobile phone/laptop charging etc. Please ask for details.

• Additional Charges
River Licences	The guest must purchase their own Upper and Lower River Avon Licence (typically £50).
Compulsory Damage Waiver	For a single, non refundable payment of £45 you will be protected from any liability for damage/loss or accident to our boat or its inventory during your holiday. This will be shown on your booking confirmation and is payable along with the balance of hire.
Single Sex Parties and Solo Boaters	Single sex parties are welcome with permission and are charged a £100 per head deposit in addition to the damage waiver. This is fully refundable upon the timely return of the boat in a clean, tidy and undamaged condition.
Pets	House trained pets are welcome (Max 2 per boat) at a price of £20 per pet.
Fuel	At present fuel charges are inclusive. However in the event of fuel prices rising, we regret we will have to make a surcharge to correct the cost.

• Reductions
A 15% discount off of the second and subsequent weeks hire charge applies to fortnight or longer hire periods.
